The Revolut business fees you’ll pay depend on the plan you pick. Revolut UK offers different plan options for companies and freelancers, with 3 different levels of plan for freelancers, and 4 for businesses. Both companies and freelancers can pick a free Revolut UK Business account, or upgrade to an account tier with monthly fees, which also unlocks more features and higher levels of fee free transactions.
To illustrate how this works, let’s look at the Revolut charges UK for different company account plans, including a look at their key features. We’ll focus on the Free, Grow and Scale plans in this guide. There’s also an Enterprise plan, which allows larger businesses to tailor make their Revolut Business account package. Revolut Business accounts offer virtual, plastic and metal cards, depending on the account tier you select². You can use your Revolut Business cards at home and abroad, including for international business travel, in 150+ currencies.
Cards are available for team members, and it’s possible to manage employee expenses through setting spend allowances, freezing and unfreezing team member cards, and reviewing transactions as required.
The card allowance available will depend on your account tier, and fees may apply if you need to order additional cards in excess of those offered within your account package. For example, the Revolut Business Free plan offers one plastic card for each team member, with delivery charges of 4.99 GBP for any card ordered in excess of this³.
On the other hand, the Revolut Business Scale plan offers plastic cards with the same terms, plus 2 free metal cards. If you have this account plan and want to order extra metal cards in excess of this you’ll have to pay 49 GBP each. If you cancel your plan, or downgrade, within 3 months, you may also need to pay fees to cover the cost of the free metal cards⁴.
