This guide is for any YouTubers on the Wise Affiliate program who want to create a Wise video.
Here, find out how to create your YouTube video, what to include as well as how to add your unique tracking link in Partnerize (the third-party platform the Affiliate program uses at Wise).
What do I need to know before I create my Wise video?
This section covers key information our YouTube partners may want to know before making and launching their videos.
1. Channel tone of voice
It’s important to keep your audience engaged in the same way you normally would. It’s good to keep the video as authentic as possible.
Promoting any Wise products must be done properly (and you can read more about these below) - but the creative part is up to you!
2. Content to include
Later in this blog we have some more specific details about Wise’s products. Feel free to focus on the most relevant product for your audience.
Find logos and photos to use here.
If you already use Wise, it’d be great to let your audience know this, and why you’re already a customer.
Screenshots and/or screen recording of the Wise homepage, app or even your own account are welcomed (but blur out any personal and/or confidential information).
3. Video formatting & key details to include
Length
First, the length of your video is up to you. However, we recommend for dedicated Wise videos these should be a minimum of 5 minutes. For best results, we recommend 8 minutes plus.
For Wise integrations (which we don’t recommend if you want to convert a lot of users), the section of Wise should be mentioned as soon as possible. We recommend this is done within the first-third of the video for better engagement.
Call to action
More engagement with your audience = a higher chance of conversions. While the link will entice your audience, it would be great if you also mentioned your affiliate link as a CTA (call to action). We suggest doing this within the first minute of the video and once again at the end.
It is also good practice to pin this link in the comments and at the top of the video description.
Cross-promotion on other channels
If you have other social media channels, the content can be cross promoted on Instagram or other platforms.
How to get your unique tracking link
It is important to use a different tracking link for any sponsored Wise video you do, as well as if you’d like to share your link across various video descriptions, your own website or other social media platforms.
Here’s how to get a unique tracking link:
- Log in to your Partnerize account here
- In the top right corner click on ‘Tracking’
- Select the Wise campaign you are signed up to (e.g. EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD or USD)
- You can then copy the whole tracking link that is provided in the Tracking link section, and this should look a bit like this: https://wise.prf.hn/click/camref:1100l4QIg/ar:sponsoredvideo/destination:https%3A%2F%2Fwise.com%2Fc%2Fexamplefreetransferlink

5. Wise’s products & services
It’s important that you, and your audience, know what Wise is and what each product is used for. Misadvertising and/or misinforming your audience may lead to us pausing any payouts and you having to remove the content.
So, please visit our product pages below for more information and feel free to include the copy in your video script.
Please note that our product information varies by country.
Other important information to note!
- Wise is not a bank
- The Wise card is not a credit card, but a multi-currency debit card
