On June 10th, Wise is hosting a one-day competition in New York to find international soccer's most committed fan.

We’re bringing together 44 soccer fans for a series of challenges testing nerve, knowledge and commitment - all for the chance to win $10,000.

To win, contestants will need to survive four rounds of challenges, before facing a penalty shootout against a surprise goalkeeper (and USMNT legend).

Along the way, there’ll be thousands of dollars in cash prizes up for grabs, exclusive Wise merch for every contestant, and food and drinks provided throughout the day.

How it works

44 fans enter. One walks away with $10,000.

Contestants will compete across four rounds designed to test what commitment really looks like: soccer knowledge, composure under pressure, and the kind of nerve you need when your team’s on the edge.

Reach the final and face a penalty shootout against a goalkeeper with USMNT legendary status.

Meet our hosts

The day will be hosted by Banheiristas, one of Brazil’s biggest soccer entertainment channels, with 8.5 million subscribers.

Known for bringing soccer culture to life with humour, energy and mad challenges, Banheiristas will be there throughout the day to keep the competition moving, get the best out of contestants, and capture the moments fans will want to share.

Plus, they’ll be plenty of other famous soccer figures taking part and testing your skills.

Expect a proper soccer atmosphere - big reactions, big personalities and plenty of drama.

The venue


The competition takes place at one of the city’s best soccer venues: Socceroof, Sunset Park, Brooklyn, New York.

With high-quality indoor pitches, a proper soccer-first set-up and the kind of atmosphere built for competitive small-sided games, Socceroof is the right place to put international soccer-level commitment to the test.

It’s a venue made for players, fans and creators - and on June 10th, it’ll be the stage for 44 fans trying to prove they care more than anyone else.

You don’t need to have played at a high level.

The event will take place from 08:30 - 18:00 on Wednesday 10th June.

Please note that airfare and travel to New York are not covered, so this opportunity is best suited for those already local or planning to be in the city on June 10th.

Terms and Conditions

The Wise Ultimate Fan Challenge (NYC)

These terms and conditions together with any documents referred to in it (“Agreement”) are applicable to The Wise Ultimate Fan Challenge (the “Competition").

Please read this Agreement carefully before applying to participate in the Competition. If you have any inquiries in relation to the Competition or this Agreement, please get in touch with us at ultimatefan@wise.com.

By applying to participate in this Competition, you (referred below as “you” or “Participant”) are entering into this Agreement with Wise US Inc., its affiliates, sponsors, licensees, contractors, vendors, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and successors (referred to as "Wise," "we," "us," or "ours"). These terms and conditions govern your application, participation, and the awarding of any prizes in the Competition.

THE EVENT

The Competition is a skills-based contest taking place on June 10th 2026 at Socceroof Sunset Park, New York City (the “Venue”), running from 08:30 to 18:00 EST (the “Event”).

Participants must be present and available at the Venue for the full duration of the Event (from 08:30 to 18:00 EST) to be eligible for any Prize.

ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION

Your participation in the Competition is subject to your acceptance of, and compliance with, this Agreement. Wise in its sole and absolute discretion has the right to refuse your application, participation in the Competition or delivery of any prize if we suspect that you have not entered the Competition in good faith or have breached this Agreement. We will determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Agreement.

You can apply to participate in the Competition via the official Wise Ultimate Fan website https://wise.com/campaign/ultimate-fan or through Wise’s partner venue, Socceroof.

Participants are selected and confirmed by Wise in its sole discretion based on the quality and creativity of their application answers, their demonstrated commitment to their team, and their confirmed ability to be present in New York City on the day of the Event.

Employees of Wise, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or members of the same household, are not eligible to enter the Competition or to receive any prize.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win the Competition. Opening and maintaining a Wise Account is free of charge.

TRAVEL AND EXPENSES; CONTENT CREATION

All travel costs to and from the Venue are the sole responsibility of the Participant. Wise does not provide airfare, transportation, accommodation, visas or any other travel arrangements, except as expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Wise may, at its sole discretion, invite a select number of Participants – including content creators, influencers, journalists or other media representatives – to attend the Event and may cover certain travel-related expenses for such invited Participants. For the avoidance of doubt, Wise does not pay any fee, honorarium, reimbursement, or other consideration to such invited Participants in exchange for attendance, content creation, social media posts or any other promotional activity, and no Participant is under any contractual obligation to Wise to produce or publish content about the Event.

Any Participant who chooses to create or publish content referencing Wise or the Event remains solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations and platform rules regarding the disclosure of material connections, including (without limitation) the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and equivalent requirements in their jurisdiction of residence or audience.

COMPETITION FORMAT AND JUDGING

The Competition is a "gauntlet-style" eliminator designed to identify the world’s most committed fan, and consists of seven (7) distinct challenges (each, a “Challenge”) testing a mixture of:

  • Football skills, including physical challenges and technical ability; and
  • Non-football skills, including knowledge-based trivia and tests of fan dedication and commitment.

Participants will be knocked out progressively across the seven (7) Challenges. Once a Participant is knocked out, that Participant is no longer eligible for any Prize. Eliminated Participants are welcome to remain at the Venue for the remainder of the day to watch the Competition and enjoy the Event.

All judging, scoring and elimination decisions will be conducted by the content creators selected by Wise (the “Judges”). The decisions of the Judges on all matters relating to scoring, eliminations and the outcome of any Challenge are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.

Participants must follow the rules of the Venue and the instructions of the Judges and Event staff at all times.

Wise reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole and absolute discretion, any Participant who does not meet the eligibility requirements, breaches this Agreement, or acts in a way that, in Wise’s view, goes against the spirit of the Competition or is unsafe, disruptive, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

The Competition is a contest of skill. All Challenges (including any trivia or fan-commitment components) are judged on objective, skill-based criteria determined by the Judges. No element of chance is material to the outcome of any Challenge or to the award of any Prize. In the event of a tie, the tie will be broken by a further test of skill determined by the Judges, and not by any random method.

PRIZES AND PAYOUTS

One final winner will receive a grand prize of USD $10,000 (the "Grand Prize"). In addition, a total prize pool of USD $9,000 (the "Secondary Prize Pool") will be made available for distribution to other Participants throughout the day across various challenges and demonstrations of fan commitment. Wise and/or Judges may, in its sole discretion, allocate the Secondary Prize Pool in any manner it sees fit, including by awarding it to any number of Participants, in any individual amounts, and on any basis Wise determines appropriate (each such award, a "Secondary Prize"). Wise is under no obligation to distribute the full Secondary Prize Pool, to award any minimum amount to any Participant, or to award Secondary Prizes to any particular number of Participants. The Grand Prize and the Secondary Prizes are each, and collectively, referred to as a "Prize" or the "Prizes".

For the avoidance of doubt, and as set out in clause 2.5, opening and maintaining a Wise Account is free of charge and is not a purchase or payment for the purpose of entering the Competition. To receive any monetary Prize, a Participant must hold or open an active Wise Account (which is free of charge) before the Event date. If you are entitled to any Prize, the Prize amount will be paid via your Wise Account. Failure to hold or open an active Wise Account as of the Event date may result in forfeiture of the relevant Prize. Please note that payment of Prize will not be processed immediately on the Event date. Wise will aim to process all payouts of Prizes within thirty (30) days after the Event, and it will not be liable for any delays to process payment caused by applicable compliance, tax or any other legal obligations.

TAXES AND REPORTING

All prizes and/or payouts are subject to applicable U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Each winner is solely responsible for all taxes, duties, and governmental charges associated with receipt of any prize.

Wise may be required to: (i) withhold taxes from all or a portion of any prize payment, as required by applicable law; (ii) in its sole discretion, elect to pay certain U.S. federal taxes on a winner’s behalf; and/or (iii) report prize payments (including any amounts treated as paid on a winner’s behalf) to the IRS and/or other governmental authorities on applicable information returns (e.g. Form 1099-MISC and/or Forms 1042 and 1042-S).

If Wise pays any U.S. federal withholding tax on behalf of a winner, the amount of tax paid will be treated as additional taxable income to the winner. Any decision by Wise to absorb withholding is intended to be limited in the aggregate by the total prize pool for the Competition.

As a condition of prize eligibility and receipt, potential winners must timely provide complete, accurate, and executed tax documentation, including IRS Form W-9 (for U.S. participants) or an applicable Form W-8 (for non-U.S. participants). Failure or delay in providing valid documentation may result in disqualification, prize forfeiture, or withholding at the maximum statutory rate.

Wise and its affiliates do not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Participants and winners should consult their own independent tax advisors regarding the tax consequences of participating in the Competition and receiving any prize.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND MEDIA RELEASE

As a condition of participation in the Competition, each Participant is required to sign, on or before the day of the Event, a separate liability waiver and media release (the "Waiver") in the form provided by Wise. A Participant who does not sign the Waiver will not be permitted to participate in the Competition and will forfeit any entitlement to Prizes.

The Waiver includes a comprehensive media release granting Wise, its partners, and its affiliates the irrevocable right to use, publish, edit, reproduce, create derivative works from the Participant’s name, photograph, image, likeness, voice, biographical details and any video footage, or other recordings of the Participant taken during the Event. Such use applies to all media formats now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, on a worldwide and royalty-free basis, for promotional, advertising and marketing purposes.

By applying to participate in the Competition, you acknowledge and agree to the matters set out in this clause 6 and agree to sign the Waiver and any additional documents in the form provided.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES

By participating in the Competition you agree that:

Neither Wise, nor any of its directors, officers, agents, employees or advisers, shall, to the fullest extent permitted by law, have any liability in connection with the Competition or the grant of the Prizes, and you shall not bring any claim or proceeding against Wise or any of its directors, officers, agents, employees or advisers in connection with the Competition or the grant of the Prizes, save in the case of: (i) liability for negligence to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded under New York General Obligations Law § 5-326; (ii) liability for personal injury or death to the extent that such liability cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law; or (iii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

You are liable for any tax which may fall due on the receipt of any Prize, and neither Wise, nor any of its directors, officers, agents, employees or advisers, shall have any liability for any such tax;

All documents in connection with the Competition and its benefits may be sent to you via email which you specified in your application for the Competition.

You agree, represent and warrant:

  • You will participate in the Competition in good faith and for lawful purposes;
  • You are not under the age of 18 by the date of the Event;
  • You are eligible to participate in the Competition;
  • You are the person named in your registration and you take part in the Competition solely for and on behalf of yourself and not directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, for or on behalf of any other person;
  • You have complied with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with the Competition, as well as with the terms of this Agreement, and Wise will not infringe any laws as a result of your registration or participation;
  • You agree that Wise is not liable for any loss of data in the course of receiving and/or processing of your registration or responsible for the loss or accidental destruction of your registration or personal data relating to you or any financial or other loss or damage which may result, directly or indirectly; and
  • You will refrain, during the Competition and thereafter, from any actions that damage or may potentially damage (in Wise’s sole discretion) Wise’s brand, goodwill or reputation.

DATA PROTECTION

The personal data that you share with Wise in the course of the Competition will be held and processed by Wise in compliance with applicable data protection legislation and legal and regulatory requirements, and in accordance with Wise's Privacy Policy, available at https://wise.com/gb/legal/privacy-notice-personal-en

GENERAL

Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability (including, without limitation, for representations, warranties and conditions, express or implied, and whether statutory or otherwise) is expressly excluded by Wise, its directors, officers, agents, employees and advisers in relation to the Competition and the grant of the Prizes. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Cumulative Rights and Remedies. The rights and remedies of Wise under this Agreement are in addition to any rights and remedies which would otherwise be available to it, and the exercise or partial exercise of any one right or remedy will not prevent the exercise of others or full exercise.

Amendments and Cancellation. Wise reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to unilaterally amend, alter, change, suspend or cancel this Agreement and/or the Competition, fully or partially, at any time with or without notice. No such amendment or cancellation will affect a Participant’s right to a Prize already awarded.

Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction. You agree that the Competition, all applications, acceptances of applications and grants of Prizes shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, and that you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal courts located in the Borough of Manhattan, New York City in respect of any matter, claim, or dispute arising out of or in connection with the Competition or this Agreement, whether contractual or non-contractual. Nothing in this clause shall limit the right of Wise to bring any action, suit or proceedings arising out of or in connection with this Agreement in any other manner permitted by law or in any court of competent jurisdiction.
