A new user is someone who does not have a pre-existing Wise account and completes a successful cross-currency transaction. This includes money transfers, multi-currency account and debit card conversions. We have a cookie window of 12 months, so you will receive commission if the referred user joins Wise and makes their first transfer within 12 months. Commission rates can be reviewed once we have enough data on the performance of the partnership and a better understanding of the life-time value of the new users. If the users you drive contribute higher value than the minimum CPA, it will be re-assessed. Q: I want to promote different products you offer – how can I do that?

You have one universal link which you can use to promote all our products - both for personal and business users. It will automatically detect which account the user signed up for and give you the correct commission. If you want to make the experience a little more special for your readers, you can create a deeplink to a specific page on the Wise website. You can do that in the tracking link tool in your Partnerize account. You cannot advertise any services which are not currently provided by Wise.

Why should I partner with Wise?

By becoming our affiliate partner, you will be earning revenue by recommending a cheaper way to send, spend and receive money internationally. Wise already helps over 10 million people and businesses to save money on international transactions and we need you to help us grow even further!

You’ll get access to a dashboard to monitor your referral activity, get access to Wise API and widgets to enrich your content and get exclusive opportunities to collaborate with Wise.

Question 3

How do commission payouts work?

We pay all of your earned commission at the beginning of each month, so you receive a payment approximately every 30 days. We approve all of your conversions and process the payment by 7th of each month, which you can then withdraw into your bank or Wise account that you specify in the Payment Settings in Partnerize.

You can withdraw your commission payment into a bank account in the currency of your campaign (currently we offer payouts in GBP, USD, EUR, AUD, and JPY) .

If you do not have a bank account in any of offered currencies, we suggest opening a Wise account with Wise, which offers local banking details as if you had a bank account in the USA, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, New Zealand or Singapore. This way you can add your Wise account details to Partnerize and save on conversion fees. This account can also help you save when working with any other affiliate platform.

All Wise accounts registered by users can and will be subject to checks at Wise’s discretion and fake accounts may lead to partnership termination.

What promotion methods are allowed?

We welcome everyone on our program, whether you have a website, blog, company or a prominent social media account. You can promote Wise by writing articles about our products, including Wise in your other articles, YouTube videos, or on social media. If you have a company, you can also recommend Wise to your customers and employees. If you accept bank transfers as part of your payment flow – feel free to recommend your customers to use Wise to pay you (include your partner link so you get paid when they do that!).

We don’t work with voucher/discount code websites, affiliate networks or partners who only acquire traffic to their content pages through paid advertising.

What if I already have a Partnerize account?

If you already have a Partnerize account and would like to join our affiliate program, please drop an email with your Partnerize username at partnerwise@wise.com. We will then add your account to our network and provide you with a tracking link.

How is this different from the 'Invite a friend' program?

Accepted Answer

The main distinctions between the two programs is the type of referrals you can do. With our 'Invite a friend' program you can invite people you know personally, like friends and family, to become a Wise customer. The Affiliate partner program allows you to promote Wise publicly online – on your website, social media or to your customers.

Conditions on the Affiliate program:

Promote Wise to a wider audience through your website, app or social media
Get higher commission rates for referring business customers
Get commission for each new user who make a cross-currency transfer / conversion on their multi-currency account / use the Wise debit card (regardless of the amount)
Monitor daily performance metrics using our third-party tracking platform, Partnerize
Get access to our rates API, calculator and comparison widgets to add to your website

Conditions of the ‘Invite a friend’ program:

Invite people you personally know
Keep track of your referrals in your Wise account
Earn a reward once 3 of your friends each make a transfer over 200 GBP

Do you offer a whitelabel or a payment gateway?

At the moment, Wise does not offer a whitelabel or a payment gateway solution. However, if you wish to receive payments into your Wise account, you can always recommend that your customers create an account with Wise and send money to your local bank account or your Wise account.
