Taking your fees as low as they will go

In August, we announced we are dropping fees on some major currencies. We made it cheaper to send money from 7 currencies including US Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar and Singapore Dollar. It’s also now cheaper to send to 7 currencies, including Brazilian Real, Philippine Peso and United Arab Emirates Dirham.

It was also good news if you regularly make large transfers, because those are now cheaper to send with Wise too.

Large transfers deserve large discounts

It'll now cost you less to send more. Previously, you got a discount on fees when you sent over 100,000 GBP per month, whether that was in one large transfer or multiple smaller ones. Now, you’ll get a discount on every penny you send over 20,000 GBP (or equivalent) per month.

Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. That’s how international money should work. To get to minimum fees, we charge as little as possible — and we’ll keep going until our fees are as close to zero as they can get.

Truly transparent hidden fees

Transfer costs are made up of two things: the fee, and the exchange rate. Most banks sneakily hide a mark-up in the exchange rate they show and sell you “low” or “no” fees.

With Wise, you’ll always know what you’re paying for. We’ll never hide our fees to make you pay more.
