Wix is best known as a website building tool which you can use for free, or use as a paid solution to build more complex sites, buy domain names and access other options to grow your site or app. However, Wix also offers other services to help people doing business online - including payment processing.
Wix Payments¹ is a built-in solution offered to people who use paid-for Wix websites, and which means you don’t need to find and integrate a third party provider to take card payments from customers.
Stripe offers payment processing solutions and merchant services, with tools to let businesses receive payments from customers in person, through apps, and online².
There are solutions for startups including easy integrations, and low or no code options for quick set up, as well as tools more aimed at established businesses like tailor made solutions to build out your own unique suite of services.

You wouldn’t need to integrate or select a separate third party provider to manage your payments - but bear in mind that the Wix payment processing fees can be higher compared to alternatives like Stripe. We’ll cover that in just a moment.

Overall, Stripe has a very broad portfolio of products and services which it splits out by business size, with some explicitly aimed at startups and other products which are probably more suited to mature companies looking for more complex solutions.
For newer companies with relatively low budgets and little technical knowledge, there are low and no code solutions which can help you get set up in minutes to start taking your first customer payments. For a more established business, Stripe offers a lot of additional services which can help business management including data and analytic tools.

Stripe has a selection of great features:
