Wise Platform launches with Wagestream, bringing fairer international transfers to frontline workers

Louis Smith

We’re excited to announce our newest partnership with financial wellbeing platform, Wagestream. From October, more than two million workers will now have a fairer, easier way to send money to friends and family abroad from the convenience of the Wagestream app.

As the cost of living rises and employers look for more ways to support their staff, our partnership with Wagestream will mean their end-customers can save by sending money abroad from over 50 currencies, including USD, EUR, CAD and AUD, to more than 70 countries, from within the app. With every transfer they make, customers will see the exact amount that will be sent, the exchange rate, as well as the fee they are paying and the time it will take for money to land in the recipient’s account. All of this makes the process of sending money abroad simple and transparent.

Wagestream makes work more rewarding by giving people access to fair financial services through their employer. Offered through caring employers like Bupa, Co-op, Pizza Express, Next, Greene King and the NHS, people use the Wagestream app to choose when they get paid, manage their budgeting, save for a rainy day, chat to a personal money coach, and get fairer deals on financial products.

“Partnering with Wise will bring a simpler, fairer way of sending money abroad into the Wagestream app - something we know a large proportion of our end-customers are interested in. We’re proud to be partnering with a fellow fintech that believes in fairer financial services and have had a fantastic experience working with the Wise Platform team” said Simon Ashton, Product Development Director at Wagestream.
