Dear HSBC. We just wanted to say thank you so much for sending us a printed welcome letter and an 8 page information booklet after we downloaded your mobile banking app. Seriously, what a lovely surprise. In this day and age, when exceptional banking services can be delivered entirely online, it's so great to see you placing environmental concerns to one side to bring us top notch 19th Century customer care. No, there's nothing whatsoever ironic about sending a piece of paper entitled 'Welcome to Mobile Banking' by post - if only we'd thought of this when we launched our own app. As a bank, you probably receive relatively little positive feedback or direct thanks from your customers. So well done, and thank you. We always thought trees were overrated anyway. All the best, Wise
