If you’re sending money to a different country, you’ll need to know when it’ll arrive. This is why many transfer services offer tracking, so you can check in on the status of your payment and update your recipient with the estimated delivery date.
Using Ria Money Transfer to send money overseas? Read on for everything you need to know about tracking your transfer with Ria. This includes how to do it online and in the mobile app, and what information you need to have ready.
We’ll also show you an alternative for fast, secure and low-cost transfers worldwide - Wise.
Yes, tracking is a feature that Ria Money Transfer offers. This allows you to check in on the progress of your transfers at any time, so you can see how long it’ll take for the money to arrive. You’ll be able to update your recipient on the estimated delivery date, and get peace of mind when your transfer arrives safely.
The most important piece of information you’ll need to track your transfer is your Ria order number. But how do you find it?
In the mobile app, you’ll find the order/tracking number by tapping ‘Details’ next to the transfer you want to track. If tracking the payment online, you’ll need to select the transfer and scroll down to the Transfer Summary.¹
If you sent a transfer in person from a Ria location, your tracking number will be found on the top-right corner of the order receipt.¹
Although you should only need your order number, you can also track Ria transfers using the PIN or a reference number if you have it.¹
There are two ways you can check in on the progress of your transfer. You can either download the Ria Money Transfer mobile app, or simply login on the Ria website. We’ll walk you through how to do both below.
Here’s how to track your transfer on the Ria website:¹
- Go to www.riamoneytransfer.com
- Go to the ‘Track a Transfer’ page - you’ll find it in the top menu on the website’s home page
- Paste in your order number or PIN
- Click the ‘Track transfer’ button.
And that’s it - you’ll see the details of your transfer and its current status.
Another way to see the status of your transfer is via the Ria Money Transfer mobile app. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to first download it from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
Then, follow these steps:¹
- Open the app and sign in to your account
- Tap ‘Track’ at the bottom of the screen - you’ll find it next to ‘Send’
- Paste or type in your order number or PIN.
You should then be able to see the status of your transfer, and share it with the recipient if needed.
If you can’t see your transfer listed for tracking or the estimated delivery date is wildly out of line with what you expected, you’ll need to contact Ria Money Transfer.
There are a few ways you can get help:
- Sign into your account on the Ria Money Transfer website and use the live chat function
