One option is a card-to-card transfer: you pay using an eligible card, and the money is delivered to your recipient’s card. Profee’s sending guidance says your payment card must be in your name and issued in your country of residence.2
Other payment and delivery methods may be available for your route. Select the UK as your sending country and choose the destination to see the options offered.
According to Profee’s payment guidance, available methods vary by country. Its options include bank cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.3
Check the methods shown for your transfer rather than assuming every option is available in the UK. Make sure your selected card or digital wallet is ready to authorise the payment.
Profee’s delivery guidance describes several options, depending on the country:4
Your recipient doesn’t need a Profee profile to receive the transfer.1 Confirm which delivery method they can use before sending.
According to Profee’s transfer guidance, fees depend on the destination and other details of the payment. You can view the current terms after selecting a destination and entering the amount.5
Review:
Check these details for each payment. A fee advertised for one route or payment method won’t necessarily apply to another.
Profee’s published tariff says currency-exchange markups may apply to money transfers.6 Check the actual rate in your quote and compare it with the mid-market exchange rate for the same currencies.
The mid-market rate is the midpoint between the buying and selling prices of a currency. It’s a useful reference, but you’ll also need to consider any fees.
For a fair comparison, use the same total budget. If you want to spend £500 altogether, compare what each provider delivers for £500 including charges, using the same currency and delivery method. Check quotes close together in time.
Profee advertises fee-free first transfers and promotional rates on qualifying routes.5 Check the offer for your destination, amount and payment method before relying on it.
A waived transfer fee doesn’t necessarily mean the exchange rate matches the mid-market rate. Compare the final recipient amount, and check the standard price if you plan to send regularly.
Profee’s registration guidance asks for personal information such as your name, contact details, date of birth, nationality and residential address.1
You may also need to supply verification documents. Follow the instructions for your account and allow time for checks before planning an urgent transfer.
Profee’s card-transfer instructions describe these steps:2
The details required can differ for bank-account or mobile-wallet delivery. Check your recipient’s information carefully before authorising the payment.
Profee advertises transfers arriving within minutes, but timing depends on how you pay and how the money is delivered. Bank processing, verification checks, banking hours, weekends and public holidays can affect arrival.1
Review the estimate for your payment before confirming. Avoid treating a typical arrival time as a guarantee, especially if your recipient is working to a deadline.
According to Profee’s tracking guidance, status updates are sent by email and through app push notifications. Enable notifications if you want to receive those updates on your device.7
If a payment is delayed, check its status and contact support with the transfer reference.
Profee publishes Basic, Plus and Premium account levels. Its account guidance describes additional identity and address information for Plus, and source-of-wealth information for Premium.8
Check the limits shown in your own account before planning a large transfer. Confirm both:
An annual account allowance and a per-transfer limit are different restrictions. Your payment also needs to meet any conditions for the destination and receiving method.
If you need a higher limit, follow the upgrade instructions or contact Profee. Allow time for verification rather than assuming an increase will be approved immediately.
Profee’s destination directory includes India, Pakistan, Nigeria, the Philippines and countries across Europe, among others.9
Select the UK and your chosen destination in the calculator to check the receiving currency and delivery options for your route. Confirm that your recipient’s card, bank account or mobile wallet is supported.
When you’re comparing international transfer providers, it's worth focusing on the total cost of the payment rather than any single fee. A provider that appears cheaper upfront may not always offer the best overall value.
Banks and other providers may claim to have “no fees” but they could be adding a sneaky mark-up to their exchange rate. This can **impact your budget by up to 2%** when sending money abroad. On a £50,000 transfer, you could save up to £1,000 with Wise vs your bank.
Wise has built its own payment network that allows customers to send money internationally for less. You’ll get the mid-market exchange rate (close to the one you see on Google) with **no hidden markups** and **low, transparent fees**.

Profee says recipients don’t need to sign up to receive money.1 They do need a supported receiving method and the correct details for the transfer.
Profee lists both among its payment methods, subject to country and transfer availability.3 Check the options shown when you set up your payment.
Check your profile for the limit that applies to your account and payment. Complete any requested verification before relying on a higher allowance.
Check your transfer status and look for Profee’s email or app updates.7 Keep your reference if you need to contact support.
