Open for business

Wise

We've been open for a while now, starting now we are also open for business customers to transfer money. When we launched the business late in January we started of by targeting private customers as a start. However we saw a lot of people ask us about using this for business purposes as well - therefore a natural thing for us was to get ready for businesses.

Using us as a business is as simple as ever, just start a transfer as needed and then select "Business bank account" to indicate that you are transferring on behalf of a business. We then ask you to fill out a few more extra fields with your business name and VAT number. Also dont forget to add a short description of your business in the "Description of Business Activities" field, that is needed for the Anti Money Laundering regulations.

We are also happy to say that we have had quite a lot of happy users in the first three months - in total our transaction volume is over 1M USD and 70% of transaction are coming from returning users - we must be doing something right!

Below you can also see the official press release we issued.

Happy exchanging!
