DAZN is a sports streaming platform that offers several different plans in the UK, including Monthly Flex and Annual options, plus newer premium tiers such as DAZN Ultimate. How you cancel and when the billing actually stops depends on your plan1:
Monthly Flex / monthly plans (billed directly by DAZN)
Annual – Pay Monthly (12-month contract)
Annual – Pay Upfront
Free / ad-supported content and promos
If you signed up to DAZN directly, you'll usually cancel from your DAZN account in a web browser or the app.
If you are on a computer, mobile browser, smart TV or games console3:
On many smart TVs or consoles, DAZN will still redirect you to a browser-based My Account page to complete cancellation. When it comes to mobile platforms, where your payments go straight to DAZN (not Apple or Google Play), you'll usually1:
If you pay for DAZN through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, your mobile provider, or a TV platform (like Sky), you must cancel on that platform1. Here are the main routes UK customers are likely to use:
If you subscribed to DAZN via Apple on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV4:

If you're not ready to cut DAZN off completely, you may have some middle-ground options.
For some monthly plans, DAZN lets you pause instead of cancelling outright. Pausing is usually available on monthly plans billed directly by DAZN. You can choose a resume date a few months in the future. On the resume date, DAZN charges you for the next month in advance and your streaming resumes9. If you cancel while your subscription is paused, the plan normally ends on the date you cancel without an extra 30-day notice period.
To pause your DAZN subscription:
If your main issue is which card you're using, you don't necessarily have to cancel and resubscribe. Instead, you can usually update the payment details on file1. If you'll be billed in another currency (for example, if you're abroad or subscribing in a different DAZN market), paying with a Wise account and Wise card can help you save on currency conversion fees compared to many traditional UK banks.
Wise lets you hold and convert 40+ currencies in one account, and send money to 140+ countries using the mid-market exchange rate for low fees* with no hidden mark-ups. Use a Wise card online and in-store in over 40+ currencies, including for streaming subscriptions.

DAZN has shifted towards a free ad-supported tier, but you may still see 7-day full-access trials, especially linked to PPV events or promotions. To avoid being charged when a free trial ends, cancel before the trial period expires. DAZN's own help centre also includes a direct link for cancelling a 7-day trial, walking you through the process on-screen. If billed directly by DAZN1:
If billed via a third party (Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Sky, mobile providers, follow the same steps as cancelling a paid subscription on that platform.
In general, DAZN's Terms & Conditions state that once a billing period has started, fees are not usually refunded, and cancellation normally just stops the next renewal1,2.
With Monthly Flex plans, if you cancel mid-month, you may pay a pro-rated amount that covers the rest of your 30-day notice period – this can look like an "extra" small payment, but it should be less than your usual monthly fee1,3.
If you change your mind later, you can usually come back to DAZN without much hassle:
If you're cancelling, pausing, or just reshuffling your DAZN and other streaming subscriptions, a Wise account and Wise card can help you keep costs under control.
With Wise, you can hold and convert multiple currencies at the mid-market rate* and use your Wise card to pay for subscriptions that might be billed in EUR, USD or other currencies, without the foreign transaction mark-ups that many UK banks add.
If you split DAZN with friends, housemates or family, you can also use Wise's bill-splitting and group-spending features, so one person pays the subscription from their Wise card or account, and everyone else easily sends their share back, even if they're in another country or using a different currency.
If you want a truly international account that works around the world, check out the Wise account. It's not a bank account but offers some similar features and your money is safeguarded.
You can open a Wise account online and start managing your money in 40+ currencies. When sending money internationally or converting currency, you’ll only pay a low, transparent fee* while also getting the mid-market exchange rate every time.
You can also get the Wise card to spend like a local from the moment you arrive. It works in 150+ countries and automatically converts your pounds to the local currency whenever you spend, only adding a tiny, upfront currency conversion fee* – or it’s free if you already have the currency in your Wise account.
