New research: more than a third of Americans are ready to move abroad

In cities across America, the 4th of July is a time to celebrate all things stars and stripes. But not all Americans are dedicated patriots: according to a new national survey conducted by Harris Poll for Wise, 35% of people living in the US would consider moving abroad.

This survey was conducted online within the United States by Harris Poll on behalf of Wise from May 15-19, 2015 among 2,090 adults ages 18 and older, among which 102 were foreign born. This online survey is not based on a probability sample and therefore no estimate of theoretical sampling error can be calculated.
