Create local accounts

You can create Global Accounts with Airwallex in more than 20 currencies, located in over 10 countries and regions.¹ These accounts let you receive money through both domestic and international transfers, so your clients can pay you in their own currency.

Send payments

With an Airwallex account in the UK, you can send money to a total of 150+ countries and regions in 60+ currencies.³ This means of course that all the major currencies are covered.

Spending with Airwallex cards

Airwallex business cards can be used worldwide, wherever Visa is accepted. But you can only spend directly in these 11 currencies:⁴

You can only spend in these currencies if you have them in an Airwallex currency balance. If not, or you’re spending in another currency, a currency conversion will be required.

Opening an Airwallex account

You can only open an Airwallex account if your business is registered in one of 56 supported countries.⁵ You can check the full list here.

Airwallex restricted countries

Airwallex isn’t yet available to businesses in all countries, but some locations are restricted altogether.

At present, you can’t open an Airwallex account if owners or directors live in Russia or Belarus.⁶
