Ladies and gentlemen, friends and family, partners, honorary guests and members of the royal family, we are glad to announce that Wise has "lifted off". By that we mean that the product is ready for prime time in front of everyone.

When we first started development of Wise our goal was to come up with a solution that makes currency exchange less painful. There is really no need to pay 3-6% for a currency exchange transaction. Really. We feel that the service we are launching today fulfills this criteria.

So that brings us to today - we feel proud to launch the service. Currency exchange at mid-market rate with a flat 1 sterling / 1 euro fee. Pretty sweet deal, eh? We think this is a fair financial service.
