10 things that are green

Anna Allgaier

I know why you’re here.

You’re here, clicking on this article, because you’re either:

  1. Super bored and avoiding work
  2. On a commute and trying to do anything that’ll prevent eye contact with strangers
  3. You just really love the colour green
  4. You’ve seen our rebrand and want to know... Who? How? What? When? Why?

Whether you’re a 1 a two or a 3 doesn’t matter, you’re here now. I’ve got you. You’re trapped.

Let’s do this.

Send money the green way

Flubber

Remember Flubber? The ICONIC 1997 movie featuring the one and only Robin Williams. No? Well then you’re young, making me feel old, and should exit this blog immediately. Anyway the stuff in that was green. Mega green.

The booger flavoured Bertie Botts Bean from Harry Potter

We all wanted to titillate our taste buds with the Bertie Botts Beans from Harry Potter. Then we tasted the bogie flavour and our fantasy died along with our childhood dreams. Also green.

The Mask

Here I am again, exposing how old I am by giving Jim Carrey’s 1994 blockbuster a mention…The Mask. He was a lean, mean, green machine.

Kermit the frog

So green. Also known for his smash hit, “It’s not easy being green.”

Green eggs and ham

You know how for some reason, food in cartoons or illustrations always looks so much yummier than in real life? The food in Disney, Studio Ghibli, etc. Well, Dr. Seuss managed to introduce us to the one dish that looks truly vile. Green eggs, and ham.

The grass

Know what else is green? That grass on the other side.

That apple a day that keeps the doctor away

Health is wealth.

Our fabulous, beautiful, glorious, spicy new look

It’s bold and clean with shades of green. We’ve had a makeover, and international people, places, letters and symbols are taking centre stage. There’s no movie makeover montage but you can learn more about it here.

Envy

Get it? Green with envy. You got it.

Snakes

I’m not talking about your high school friend who stabbed you in the back and stole your boyfriend right before prom…not a personal example, promise. I’m talking about actual green snakes.

We’ve come to the end of our list. But if you want more green and lower fees in your life, have a looksie at our website and what we can do for you.
