Let’s dive right into the Wise daily limit, and the limits that apply for different payment types.
If you live in one of the Wise licensed states¹, or if you’re from a country outside of the US (aside from US territories), you can send the following amounts with Wise².

If the address associated with your Wise Account is in Nevada you can send up to:
- 50,000 USD per transfer
- 250,000 USD in a year
- 10,000 USD per day by ACH

If you hold a USD balance in your Wise Account you can use it to send payments worth up to 6 million USD⁴.
Different personal limits apply if you’re sending by local transfer or SWIFT — but you’ll always be notified in the Wise app or on the desktop site if you hit a limit on a payment you’re trying to arrange.
If your Wise USD account information starts with 026, the following limits will apply⁵:

For accounts with 026 routing numbers, these limits do not apply if you choose Add USD when you add funds to your account, or if you’re converting from another currency balance within Wise.
If your routing information starts with 084 there are no limits to how much you can receive into your Wise Account⁵.

Different payment types have different limits — they’re set to a default level when you get your card, which you can manage in the Wise app or on the desktop site, to set your preferred amount up to payment type maximums. You can also turn off a specific payment type entirely.
