Account Information Service Supplement to the Customer Agreement (UK)

1. How to read this Supplement
1.1 This Supplement is a supplement to, and must be read together with, your Customer Agreement which sets out the terms that apply to your Wise Account. These documents together, referred to here as the "Agreement", set out the terms on which we provide Account Information Services to you. Some capitalised terms have specific definitions in section 3, or are defined in your Customer Agreement. Underlined words in this Supplement contain hyperlinks to further information.
2. Why you should read this Supplement
2.1 What this Supplement covers. These are the terms and conditions on which we provide Account Information Services to you.
2.2 Why you should read it. Please read this Supplement carefully before you start to use our Account Information Services. This Supplement (always together with the documents referred to in it) tells you who we are, how we will provide the Account Information Services to you, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in this Agreement, please contact us to discuss.
2.3 Future changes to this Supplement. All future changes to the terms of this Supplement are incorporated into this Supplement.
2.4 You agree to the Supplement. By using our Account Information Services, you confirm that you accept and agree to this Supplement (including any updates to this Supplement and the additional documents referred to above). If you do not agree, please do not use our Account Information Services.
3. Glossary
In this Agreement:
Account Information means the information relating to the Payment Accounts held by you with Payment Service Providers, including information related to the Payment Account balance, payment transactions such as the amount, counterparty/merchant, transaction type and reference.
Account Information Services means the ability for you to access, view and share your Account Information.
Credentials means the login and/or security credentials issued to you by Payment Service Providers to allow you to access your Payment Accounts.
Payment Accounts means any account held in your name with a Payment Service Provider.
Payment Service Provider means an authorised provider of payment services, including a bank or electronic money institution.
4. Who we are and how to contact us?
4.1 Our company information. Wise Payments Limited is a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales with company number 07209813 ("Wise", "we", "us", or "our" as applicable).
4.2 Our Registered office. Our registered office is 6th Floor, TEA Building, 56 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6JJ, United Kingdom. This office is for Wise employees only and is not accessible to customers.
4.3 We are authorised by the FCA. We are an Electronic Money Institution authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 for the issuing of electronic money and providing payment and account information services. Our FCA reference number is 900507.
4.4 How to contact us. You can contact us by email, web chat or telephone. Our contact details are provided on the Contact page of our Website.
5. Account Information Services
5.1 We provide regulated Account Information Services. This service allows you to provide us with proof of the source of your funds by giving us access to view and collect your Account Information.
5.2 We use your Account Information to conduct checks on the source of your funds to assist us to fulfil our regulatory obligations.
6. Consent
6.1 By using our Account Information Services you give us consent to: (i) contact Payment Service Providers used by you; and (ii) retrieve Account Information held by them from your Payment Accounts. We may use the technology of a third party provider authorised by the FCA to provide you Account Information Services.
6.2 By using our Account Information Services, your represent and confirm that:
- the Credentials you use are your own and you are duly authorised to use the Credentials to connect your Payment Account(s); and
- you will not use our Account Information Services in any manner which may breach our Agreement.
7. Who is responsible if things go wrong?
7.1 We are not responsible for the conduct of your Payment Service Providers. If you have any questions in relation to these, you should speak to your Payment Service Provider.
7.2 Your use of your Payment Account will also be subject to other terms and conditions. This Supplement will not affect any of those terms.
7.3 If you notice any unauthorised, or suspicious transactions on your Payment Account, you should immediately contact your Payment Account Provider, who is responsible for investigation, and other corrective actions. Please refer to the complaints policy of your Payment Account Provider.
