It could be useful to be able to use some of your UK accounts, like PayPal (PYPL) for example. But does PayPal work in Kenya?

The good news is that PayPal does operate in Kenya, and even has a dedicated website for its customers there.
PayPal in Kenya offers accounts and services for both personal and business customers, and it appears to work in much the same way as in the UK.
Yes, you should be able to open a new PayPal account if you’re living in Kenya. You can do it either online or via the PayPal mobile app.
You’ll just need to provide some basic personal details such as your name, address and contact details.
To send money or use PayPal to pay online, you’ll also need to add a payment method like a debit or credit card, or a bank account.

Unfortunately, you can’t carry on using your UK PayPal account if you move to Kenya.
You’ll need to close it and open a new one once you arrive, using your new Kenyaian residential address.¹
