  </h3>

    We might ask you to add money to your Wise account or pay a small fee to get the card. You can also get a digital card for free.

    Spending with your card

        If you have the currency you're spending in your account — it’s free to spend

      <p>
        If you don’t have the currency you're spending in your account, there’s a 
        <a href="/help/articles/2596980/how-can-i-convert-money">conversion fee</a>
         — check the latest

         for your region

      <p>
        If you’re spending online, the seller might try to charge their own conversion fee. This could happen even if you have the other currency in your account. To avoid this, ask the seller to charge you in the currency you want

    Belarus
  </h5>
  <p>
    Because of the ongoing sanctions and recent developments in the region, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus now requires all card transactions to use a conversion rate set by them for BYN payments. This means that we can no longer use the mid-market rate to calculate fees when you spend or withdraw money with your Wise card in 
    <b>Belarus</b>
    . Instead, we’re now using the rate set by the National Bank. Change is in effect from 16 May 2022, and only affects BYN payments.

    Withdrawing cash from an ATM
  </h3>
  <p>
    The exact fees you pay depend on where your card was issued — it’s usually the registered address on your Wise account.

    If you have a Brazil-issued card, 
    <a href="/help/articles/2oXQxOw2uAtpipyzMHQyaT/wise-cards-in-brazil">smart conversion won’t work</a>
     on your Wise account when BRL involved.

    Replacing your card 
  </h3>
  <p>
    If you need to replace your card, you might need to pay a small fee. It helps us cover the cost of getting a new card made and delivered to you.
  </p>
  <h3>
    Topping up e-wallets
  </h3>
  <p>
    Topping up your e-wallet — or other external accounts that may be convertible into cash, such as casino chips, cryptocurrencies and lottery tickets — can incur a 2% fee.

What are the Wise card fees?

    You can give team members permission to order their business debit card so they can spend directly from the business account. This is only available in

      supported countries

    You can control their spending and account access using the following features:
  </p>

    Cardholder spending limits
  </h3>
  <p>
    You can set daily and monthly cardholder spending limits for each team member — that’s the amount they can spend and withdraw across their cards. All team members can view their own spending limits when they log into the account.
  </p>

    You can set these spending limits when you first add your team member to your account. You can also change them at any time in the Card limits section on their team member page.
  </p>
  <p>
    You’ll need permission to set team members’ card spending limits, and block their spending and ATM withdrawals to do this.

    Block spending
  </h3>
  <p>
    You can temporarily block any team member’s spending from the 
    <b>Cards</b>
     section on their team member page.
  </p>
  <p>
    You’ll need permission to set team members’ card spending limits, and block their spending and ATM withdrawals to do this.
  </p>
  <h3>
    <b>Other card permissions</b>
  </h3>
  <p>
    You can choose whether you want your team member to be able to withdraw from ATMs and order digital cards.
  </p>
  <p>
    You can also control where they can spend from by giving them permission to only spend from groups. This means they can only spend from groups they’re added to, and not from the main account. 
  </p>
  <p>
    These card permissions can be set up when you first add a team member to the account, or at any time from the 
    <b>Cards</b>
     section on their team member page. You’ll need permission to set team members’ card spending limits, and block their spending and ATM withdrawals to do this.

    General permissions
  </h3>
  <p>
    If you only give your team member permission to order their business debit card with no other permissions, they won’t be able to see any other information about your account when they log in.

How can I control my team spending?

    There are limits on how much you can spend with your Wise card and withdraw from ATMs.

    Account spending limits
  </h3>
  <p>
    All Wise personal customers have daily and monthly account spending limits, which is the amount that can be spent by card and withdrawn from ATMs across all cards on your account. These are sometimes called your 
    <b>total</b>
     account spending limits.
  </p>
  <p>
    You also have ATM withdrawal limits, which only apply to the amount you can withdraw from ATMs.
  </p>
  <p>
    For both limits, you have:
  </p>
  <ul>
    <li>
      <p>
        a monthly limit, which refreshes on the first day of the month
      </p>
    </li>
    <li>
      <p>
        a daily limit, which refreshes each day at midnight
      </p>
    </li>
  </ul>
  <p>
    Unless you’re a US Wise Multi-Currency cardholder, your daily limits are the same as your monthly limits by default.
  </p>

     tab on both app or web.
  </p>

    Spending limits per card
  </h3>
  <p>
    You can also choose to set daily and monthly limits on the amount you can spend and withdraw on specific cards. These limits refresh at the same time as your account spending limits.
  </p>
  <p>
    The amount you spend still can’t exceed your account limits, even if you set a higher limit on your card. So if you want to spend more, you’ll need to increase your account limits too.

    What are the limits for my country or region?
  </h3>
  <p>
    Depending on your region, you may have other limits on your card spending.
  </p>
  <p>
    If you change your registered address after moving to another country and order a new card, we’ll automatically update the limits for all your cards. They’ll reflect the limits that apply to your new country of residence.
  </p>
  <p>
    <b>India cardholders</b>
  </p>
  <p>
    If your card was issued in India, you can't spend more than 70,000 USD in a month.
  </p>
  <p>
    <b>Japan cardholders</b>
  </p>
  <p>
    If your card was issued in Japan, you can’t spend more than 1,000,000 JPY with a single transaction. This limit is in addition to your monthly spending and withdrawal limits. 
  </p>
  <p>
    <b>Philippines cardholders</b>
  </p>
  <p>
    If your card was issued in Philippines, you can't spend more than 500,000 PHP with a single transaction. This includes regular purchases and ATM withdrawals. Any transactions bigger than this amount will be declined.

    <b>Singapore cardholders</b>
  </p>
  <p>
    If your card was issued in Singapore, you can’t spend or send more than 100,000 SGD in 12 months.

    <b>US cardholders</b>
  </p>
  <p>
    Your Wise Multi-Currency Card has separate limits depending on payment type, and how often you spend. There’s:
  </p>
  <ul>
    <li>
      <p>
        Single payment — how much you can spend or withdraw at one time
      </p>
    </li>
    <li>
      <p>
        Daily — how much you can spend or withdraw in one day
      </p>
    </li>
    <li>
      <p>
        Monthly — how much you can spend or withdraw in one month
      </p>
    </li>
  </ul>
  <p>
    Each payment type has two limits: 
    <b>default</b>
     and 
    <b>maximum</b>
    . 
  </p>
  <p>
    Your daily limit refreshes every day at midnight. Your monthly limit refreshes on the first day of every month.
  </p>
  <p>
    When you first get your Wise Multi-Currency Card, we put you on our default limits.
  </p>
  <p>
    Your account also shows you the general limit of all daily limits combined.
  </p>
  <p>
    If you’re a US customer, you may not be able to set specific limits for your cards.
