Can you buy from Vinted in Ireland?

Love browsing through a second hand store looking for preloved treasure? One website bringing that concept into the digital age is Vinted, an online marketplace that allows people to buy and sell second hand items.

This short guide is going to take a look at whether you can buy from Vinted in Ireland, and how you can go about shipping something. We’ll also let you know why having a Wise card can be very useful for online shopping.

Is Vinted in Ireland?

Unfortunately, Vinted is not available in Ireland at the moment. However, there are Vinted local websites available for many other countries in Europe and North America¹:

Does Vinted ship to Ireland?

No. None of the international Vinted stores deliver directly to Ireland. Also, since there’s no localised Irish website you can’t buy on Vinted from Ireland.

So the only way around it would be to use something like a parcel forwarding service as an intermediary.

With a parcel forwarding service you buy the item from the international website and have the package sent to a designated address within that country which belongs to the forwarding service.

They then send the parcel to you in Ireland for a fee, which is usually based on the size, weight and value of the shipment.

While Vinted doesn’t offer direct delivery to Ireland, there are many online stores that do and using a parcel forwarding service can open your choices even further.

In a nutshell, Vinted is an online marketplace dedicated to buying and selling second hand items including homewares, clothing, accessories and entertainment.²

The way Vinted works is you start by browsing the available products and finding something you like.

Ask the seller any questions you have about the item and when you’re ready, buy it through the Vinted site using one of the accepted payment methods.

The seller then ships the item to you with an estimated delivery time being given at the check out.
