Looking at moving abroad? Cost of living probably isn't always top of your agenda (we see you, dreaming of life on the beach) - but it's worth considering before you commit to a new life. Mercer's annual Cost of Living Survey reveals the most and least expensive cities to live in for expats. Here's snapshot of the top and bottom ten:

Luanda, capital of Angola, ranks number one for most expensive city - although it's otherwise relatively cheap, importing goods is very costly. Switzerland dominates Europe, with three cities making it into the top ten. Zurich, Geneva and Bern.

Cities in East Asia make up the rest of the top ten - with Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing and Seoul all making the list. You can check out the full report here.

What is Wise? Wise is the clever new way to convert money to send abroad. Banks charge you huge fees when you send your money abroad. Then they hide more charges in unfair exchange rates. Wise has found a simple way to bypass the banks and make international money transfers transparent and fair. Like they should be. The pricing is transparent. The exchange rate is the real one. The small fee is easy to spot. **Find out how much you could save:**Try out Wise's new BIC/SWIFT Toolkit here.
