We follow a strict set of rules from regulatory agencies in every single country we operate in.

From the U.S. federal and state regulators to the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, we comply with requirements around the globe.

As a result, we have certain rules in place. For example:

  • Your money is always protected in a segregated account;
  • Customer funds are insured to prevent loss;
  • Just like banks and other financial providers, we monitor transactions and verify customers’ identities to prevent fraud.

In the U.S., we’re registered with FinCEN, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.



We use the industry standard HTTPS encryption to protect all your transactions and make sure your communications with us are safe.

We will never ask you to submit or trust sensitive information from a web page that does not have the green location security bar.

For security purposes, there are things we will never do:

  • Tell us your Wise password (except when logging in);
  • Pay in your money to a bank account not listed here;
  • We will never sell your data and we won't share it with third parties unless required to do so by law.
