We're excited to announce that Wise is launching a transfer service to help expats to send money from China.*

Wise now supports Chinese Yuan (CNY) transfers from China. It’s fast, convenient and as fair as ever.

Currently expats in China have a hard time sending money home. The main options are banks in China, which is very inconvenient as expats need to go down physically to the banks and submit at least 5 different documents every single time they need to send money home. Wise on the other hand offers a fully digital solution via web and App. Fewer documents are required and you only need to provide them for the first transfer.

Non-mainland Chinese individuals who are working or have worked in China can use this product to send money from China. This includes people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
