A New Era for Money Transfers in Mexico
Our entry into the Mexican market marks a pivotal moment in our goal to enhance cross-border payments. Mexican nationals can now send money to over 40 currencies and 160 countries with ease, using a fully digital process through the Wise app or website.
Mexico offers an unique opportunity to serve a large and growing market with high demand for quality financial services. In 2024 alone, consumers moved approximately $168 billion USD in and out of the country, and this figure is expected to grow, potentially doubling by 2028.
Addressing Transparency Issues
Beyond offering a more convenient and affordable way to move money across borders, Wise is committed to tackling one of Mexico's biggest challenges: the lack of transparency in international payments.
