FAQ
When you turn on Interest, your money is invested in a fund holding government-guaranteed assets. The fund aims to maximise current income through a portfolio of high quality short-term money market instruments and tracks the interest rate offered by the central bank of the currency — and unlike traditional bank accounts, your return will change soon after the central bank rate changes. We'll update the value of your money every working day, so there's no more waiting a month to get what's yours.

When you use Interest, you can send and spend your money whenever you want — including your gains.
If your money is in a jar, you'll need to move it to your main account if you want to spend it.
You can transfer up to 120,000 EUR each day from Interest currencies. Any amount over 120,000 EUR adds a processing time of up to 2 working days.
In certain circumstances we might need to temporarily limit the amount of money you can withdraw, send or spend each day. But you'd still always be able to get full access to your money within 2 working days.

Interest is considered low risk because the assets the fund invests in are government-guaranteed.
The fund that Interest uses is designed to be stable and it's unlikely your money could go down in value. This could happen if interest rates get close to 0%, go negative, or if the government defaults on their debt.
