Sending from PHP
Personal customers can now send money from PHP via bank transfers. This feature is not yet available for Wise Business customers.
How can I pay for my transfer from PHP?
You can pay for your transfer from PHP by bank transfer or e-wallets (via Instapay scheme), debit card, credit card, or you can send money from your Wise balance.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 50,000 PHP per transfer. If you need to send a larger amount, please consider breaking them into a few transfers.
Where can I send from?
You can only send PHP to Wise from banks within the Philippines. You can’t send PHP by Swift.
Sending to PHP
Who can I send PHP to?
You can send PHP to any individual and business bank accounts in the Philippines. You can also send to GCash, Maya (formerly known as PayMaya), GrabPay, Starpay, Bayad Wallet, TayoCash, ShopeePay, and JuanCash.
What information do I need about my recipient?
For transfers to bank accounts, you’ll need their full name, bank name and 6-18 digit long bank account number.
How much can I send?
If you're sending to a bank account the limit per transfer is:
490,000 PHP if you live in the Philippines
9 million PHP if you live outside of the Philippines
If you're sending to a mobile wallet, such as Gcash or Maya, the limit per transfer is 49,999 PHP.
Mobile wallet providers might have their own receiving or balance limits, so if your payment gets rejected ask the recipient to check with their provider.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once we receive and convert your money, transfers to PHP are instant up to 50,000 PHP. For larger amount transfers, money usually takes 1–2 working days to arrive in your recipient’s bank account. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.
