Wise Payments Japan K.K. (hereinafter "Wise") positions the prevention of economic sanction violations as one of its top management priorities. In order to comply with Japan’s Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act (hereinafter "FEFTA") and the economic sanction measures of various countries, we verify that our customers' transactions do not violate any economic sanctions. When using Wise's services, we kindly request that you carefully review and confirm the restricted transactions listed in the article 28.11 of our Terms Of Use (Personal) or Terms Of Use (Business) before proceeding.

Please note that if we are unable to confirm that your transaction does not fall under a restricted transaction, or if we otherwise deem it necessary, we may ask you to submit documents related to the transaction or provide detailed information regarding its purpose. If this verification cannot be completed within a certain period of time, we may cancel the transaction. We kindly ask for your understanding in advance that these are necessary measures to provide secure services.
