You can also pay your Metrobank credit card bill in person or through self-service machines.

Metrobank says cardholders can pay through Metrobank ATMs and BancNet ATMs. You can also pay at a CLiQQ kiosk in any 7-Eleven store.

For over-the-counter payments, Metrobank branches accept cash and check payments. Metrobank also lists authorized payment centers and partner branches, including SM Stores and supermarkets, Bayad Center, PSBank branches, Security Bank branches, select Robinsons Department Stores, RCBC branches and ECPay partners.

Keep your receipt or transaction confirmation until the payment reflects on your credit card account.

Which Metrobank credit card payment channels post fastest?

Metrobank credit card payment posting depends on the channel you use.

Metrobank’s LifeBanking guide says Metrobank App, Metrobank Online and Metrobank ATMs may show payments right away.

Most e-wallets and partner bank channels may post the same day, while over-the-counter payments made after banking hours may post the next business day.

Metrobank also says it considers the transaction date of your payment, even if posting takes some time. Keep your confirmation details and receipts until the payment appears on your account.

If your due date is close, choose a Metrobank-owned digital channel where possible, and check the payment confirmation before treating the bill as settled.

Can you set up automatic Metrobank credit card payments?

Yes. Metrobank lists Automatic Debit Arrangement as one of its credit card payment options.

With Automatic Debit Arrangement, your credit card payment can be made automatically from your Metrobank deposit account. Metrobank says cardholders can visit any Metrobank branch to enroll.

This can help reduce the risk of missing a due date. Just make sure your nominated account has enough funds before your payment is due.

Paying your Metrobank credit card from overseas

If you’re abroad, paying a Philippine credit card bill can take a little more planning. You’ll still need to use one of Metrobank’s available payment channels, such as Metrobank Online, the Metrobank app, GCash, BancNet, partner bank apps or another local channel.

If you earn, hold or receive money overseas, you may need to convert funds to Philippine pesos before paying your Metrobank credit card bill.
