Unifi Data Roaming

Unifi international roaming is available for both postpaid customers and prepaid customers. The options vary depending on the package you have with Unifi already, as well as where in the world you’re heading to. Unifi postpaid roaming can be used on a day-by-day basis or you can buy packages for a week or more, depending on your destination. Similarly, prepaid customers can select from different Unifi mobile roaming packages to suit their specific needs. This guide covers all the basics.

Differences between unifi mobile roaming, local SIM card, and travel eSIM

Using data roaming from Unifi without buying and activating a pass can be a very expensive mistake. But what are your options?

You’ve generally got 3 potential choices if you’re looking for ways to keep on using your data overseas:

  • Activate international roaming on your Unifi prepaid or postpaid phone
  • Buy a local SIM card at the airport when you get to your destination
  • Use a travel eSIM if you have a compatible device

Each option has its own advantages and disadvantages. Where you’re heading to also makes a difference, particularly when it comes to cost. Here are a few things to think about:

ProsCons
