9 Best UOB Travel Credit Cards in Malaysia to Master Your Miles this 2026

Joel Conceicao

Looking for the most powerful credit cards in Malaysia that not only help you earn miles but also offer perks like airport lounge access?

Then you're in the right place. UOB’s offerings are serious contenders.

UOB’s UNIRinggit (UNIRM) rewards programme lets you redeem miles, gift vouchers, lifestyle products, and even cashback.

If you previously held Citibank travel cards, your Citi Rewards Points were moved to UOB UNIRM following the 2023 business sale. Good news: these ported points never expire, giving you the flexibility to redeem them at your own pace.

In this article, we’ll give you the lowdown on the best UOB travel credit cards for your needs and show how you can use Wise as a companion card to maximise your savings.

The truth is, even the best Malaysian credit card for overseas spending has its limits. UOB cards are excellent for travel perks. But the high transaction fees charged by banks can quickly outweigh the rewards you've earned.

There is a great workaround, though.

By pairing your UOB travel cards with the Wise card, you’ll get the best of both worlds: you’ll get lounge access and earn points, while also spending overseas at the mid-market exchange rate.

UOB Visa Infinite Metal Card: The luxury flagship

Top Perk: Earn 10X UNIRM for every RM1 spent overseas

For people who want the ultimate flagship travel card, the UOB Visa Infinite Metal Card is the card to aspire to. This is purely by invitation, however, so we’ll focus more on the normal Visa Infinite card that can be applied for.

The UOB Visa Infinite card comes with 12 complimentary lounge visits (in the APAC region) per year via the DragonPass app, as well as 10X UNIRM points for every 1 MYR spent overseas and 5X UNIRM points for local dining spend (with a minimum spend of 1,000 MYR per month).

Due to the higher 120,000 MYR per annum income requirement, this card is more targeted towards high earners and frequent flyers who want lounge access and are frequently spending money overseas as well as in Malaysia.

UOB PRVI Miles Elite: For frequent flyers

Top Perk: Earn 12X UNIRM on overseas spending

All overseas spending in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia on this card will net you 12X UNIRM points per 1 MYR spent, with no cap on how much you can earn.

You'll get 10X UNIRM points on all other overseas spending in other countries, which isn’t too shabby either.

Plus, you get 8 complimentary lounge visits per year, and up to 2 free Grab rides home per month (80 MYR cap) but you need to make at least 3 overseas transactions to be eligible for the latter.

There's also the standard UOB PRVI Miles card, which has a lower income requirement of 60,000 MYR per annum. It offers 5X UNIRM points on overseas spend and travel categories, and you can get an additional 2,000 bonus UNIRM with a minimum monthly spend. You do lose the lounge access perks, however.

If you’re a frequent flyer all around Southeast Asia and you want a fuss-free experience without micromanaging your spending on different cards, the PRVI Miles Elite card is perfect.

UOB Zenith Card: For playing the miles game

Top Perk: The most efficient redemption rate in the UOB stable

The UOB Zenith Card is meant for frequent flyers and people who want to get the most out of their miles redemptions.

This is the card with the most efficient redemption rate, requiring only 7,400 UNIRM points to redeem 1,000 miles for Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich Miles, Singapore Airline’s Krisflyer Miles, Cathay Pacific’s Asia Miles, or AirAsia’s AirAsia Points.

Additionally, you get 12 lounge visits per calendar year, and travel insurance coverage of up to 1,000,000 MYR.

You’ll have to be a high earner to apply for this card, however, with a 192,000 MYR income requirement per annum. For people who haven’t gotten an invitation for the Visa Infinite Metal card, this could be a good card to use in the meantime.

UOB World Card: A lifestyle and travel hybrid

Top Perk: Travel perks with lower income requirements (RM5,000/month)

If you can’t hit the high income requirements of other travel cards just yet, don’t lose hope.

The UOB World Card offers some decent travel perks like accelerated UNIRM earnings on e-commerce spend, e-wallet top-ups, spending at selected departmental stores and supermarkets, as well as overseas spend.

You also get 6 complimentary lounge visits, although it’s limited to the Plaza Premium Lounge and UOB Private Lounge at KLIA Terminal 1.

For people who aren’t earning big bucks yet, this could be a decent card with travel perks to tide you over until you qualify for other cards with better rewards.

UOB Lady’s Solitaire and Lady's Card: For fashion and groceries

Top Perk: Earn 10X UNIRM on spending in the “Fashion” category, and 5X UNIRM on groceries

Don’t let the name fool you, UOB allows both men and ladies to apply for the UOB Lady’s card, and if most of your monthly spending is on groceries and clothing, this card might work well for you.

With 10X UNIRM points per every 1 MYR spent on fashion merchants and 5X UNIRM points per 1 MYR spent on groceries, you’ll be racking those points up quickly if it fits your spending profile.

If you’re able to meet the income requirement (120,000 MYR per annum), you have the option of applying for the UOB Lady’s Solitaire card, which offers 6 lounge visits (limited to Plaza Premium Lounge and UOB Private Lounge at KLIA Terminal 1) each year and an extra 5X UNIRM for every 1 MYR spent overseas or online in foreign currencies.

Fashionistas and people who are in charge of buying their household groceries each month might want to consider this card, as they’ll be able to benefit greatly from the accelerated UNIRM earnings in those merchant categories.

Bonus: UOB EVOL Card: A digital-first cashback alternative

Top Perk: 5X UNIRM for every RM1 spent on entertainment and dining

The UOB EVOL Card isn’t technically a travel credit card, but it does offer 5X UNIRM points on dining and entertainment spend, as well as 1X UNIRM for every 1 MYR spent on retail purchases. There’s no minimum spend or cap to get the accelerated UNIRM points.

This card is ideal for low spenders who want to chalk up points while paying for their daily expenses.
