You can send money from Chime to Cash App by linking your accounts. This deducts money from your Chime account whenever you make a payment with Cash App.

Step 1. Open Cash App and select “Add Bank”. Select “Chime” from the options

Step 2. Log in to your Chime bank account to link both accounts

Step 3. Log in to your Cash App account and enter how much you want to send. Select “Pay” to make your payment. As your accounts are linked, the money will automatically come out of your Chime account.¹

This is a great option if you’re sending money to your own Cash App account. However, make sure you don’t link to someone else’s account, as any payments will come out of your Chime bank account.

Use your Chime debit card

If you need to send a payment through Cash App, but your account is currently empty, you can use your Chime debit card to add funds.

Step 1. Open Cash App and select “Banking”. You can then select to “Add Debit Card” and enter your Chime details

Step 2. Follow any prompts to complete the connection between both accounts

Step 3. Open Cash App and select “Banking” and “Add Cash” to top up your account. Choose how much you want to send from your Chime account to your Cash App balance.²

Choose Chime’s Pay Anyone transfer service

Chime’s Pay Anyone Transfer Service is a great option if you want to pay someone with a Cash App account who doesn’t have Chime. All you need is their email address or phone number.

Step 1. Open Chime and select “Pay Anyone”. You can give Chime permission to access your contacts or you can search for payees manually.

Step 2. Choose who you want to pay and how much you want to send.
