The PayPal Business transfer limit, without a verified account, is $4000.

If your account is verified, you’re free to send up to $60,000 per transaction. Though you can be limited to $10,000 for a single transaction, depending on your currency.¹

To find your PayPal sending limit, take the following steps:

How can I lift my PayPal sending limit?

The only way to uncap your sending limit is to verify your account. To do this, simply link your bank account or credit card to your PayPal Business account.

Here are the steps to lift the limits on a verified PayPal Business account:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account
  2. Select ‘My Account’ at the top of the page
  3. Navigate to the Overview page and select ‘View Limits’ next to your PayPal balance
  4. Click ‘Lift Limits’
  5. Select the option you prefer to lift your sending limits and follow the on-screen instructions

PayPal offers instant transfers which allow you to send money immediately from your bank account. To make instant transfers you need a confirmed US bank account in addition to a backup funding source like a registered debit or credit card.

PayPal instant transfer limits are a lot higher for business account users than they are for consumers.

There’s no way to lift the PayPal instant transfer limits due to the speed of the transfer.
