How to send money from PayPal to Wise
Wondering if you can send money from PayPal to Wise? In this article, we'll cover the possibilities.
You can’t use Venmo on Amazon directly - but there is a simple enough solution. If you’d rather make Venmo Amazon payments, you can apply for a Venmo card¹ - and use this to pay on Amazon instead - but you can’t make international payments with it.
For international payments, an alternative like the Wise debit card might be better – but more on this later.
This guide covers all the basics, including how to use Venmo on Amazon with the Venmo debit card, and how to get set up with the Venmo card on your Amazon account.
You can’t pay with Venmo directly on Amazon. However, get a Venmo debit card and you can use that to pay on Amazon instead.
The Venmo debit card is on the Mastercard network, so it’s accepted by any US retailer displaying the Mastercard logo. It’s important to know that you can’t use your Venmo card internationally - which includes online purchases made on Amazon from merchants based abroad.
The Venmo debit card is already available to most Venmo users. It’s being rolled out progressively to more customers - let’s look at how to apply²:
- Open the Venmo app
- Look for either the stacked line logo, or the cards tab, depending on which app version you use
- Select Venmo Debit Card
- Click Get the Venmo Card
- Work through the card options, including the color you want to receive
- Enter your personal details and address
- Follow the prompts to complete all the required information
- Review and tap Submit
You’ll need to provide some personal information to get your Venmo card, including³:
- Name
- Address
- Date of birth
- Details to show your identity like your SSN
You may also need to provide documents to support your application - you’ll be notified if that’s required.
We mentioned that the Venmo card is being rolled out to more users at the moment. That means it’s possible you won’t be able to apply just yet - instead you’ll see a Get in Line message when you start the application process. Click that to be added to the waitlist, and you’ll be automatically informed when the card is available for you.
