Zolve international wire transfer: Fees, limits, and rates
Zolve international wire transfer: fees, exchange rates, transfer times, limits, and step-by-step instructions to send money abroad safely.
Want to transfer money to another country using a Cash App? Unfortunately, it's not possible to send a Cash App international wire transfer.
Cash App is a US mobile payment service from Block that lets you send money to other users, spend with a Cash Card, and buy stocks or Bitcoin.
You can use it to send quick payments to other people in the US, but it doesn't support wire transfers or international money transfers of any kind.
If you were hoping to send funds abroad with Cash App, this guide explains what the app can and can't do, and where to look instead.
We'll also introduce Wise — your international money transfer alternative. Use Wise to send stress-free transfers to over 140 countries - all at the standard mid-market exchange rate.
No. Cash App doesn't offer wire transfers, and it doesn't send money internationally.
It's a domestic peer-to-peer app, so you can send payments from one Cash App account to another, or to a linked US bank account, all within the US.
To use the app at all, you need a Cash App account, and you can only get one if you are in the US and an eligible US resident.¹
Cash App did once operate in the UK and allowed some payments between the US and UK. That changed in 2024, when the company closed its UK service and refocused on the US market. Since then, Cash App has been a US-only product with no cross-border sending.²
Because Cash App does not move money across borders, there is no dedicated international transfer fee to talk about. For in-app transfers, here's how the fees work:¹
- It's free to receive money using your personal Cash App account
- It's free to send money from your Cash balance or a linked debit card
- Cash App charges a 3% fee to send money from a linked credit card
These are the costs of using the app inside the US to send money to other people.
Cash App doesn't publish an exchange rate because it doesn't convert currency. Every transfer stays in USD, so there is no currency conversion step involved.
Send money to 140+ countries with the mid-market exchange rate and low, transparent fees with Wise. Set up a free Wise account online or in the Wise app, to transfer money fast in 40+ currencies.
Over 50% of Wise payments arrive instantly* — and all Wise transfers are deposited directly into your recipient's bank account for convenience.
No ongoing fees, no hidden charges and no hassle — just fast, transparent international transfers that can beat the banks.
*Transaction speed claimed depends on funds availability, approval by Wise’s proprietary verification system and systems availability of our partners’ banking system, and may not be available for all transactions.
You can't make a wire transfer with Cash App. The app is limited to domestic, account-to-account payments, so it doesn't connect to the banking networks that wires and international transfers rely on.
To send an international transfer, here are your main options:
- A bank wire sends money from your bank account to another bank account, in the US or abroad, using details like a SWIFT code or IBAN
- A cash pickup service, such as Western Union or MoneyGram, lets your recipient collect the money in person at an agent location
- An online transfer service, such as Wise, sends money to a recipient's bank account in their local currency, often at lower cost
Cash App is a different type of service. It's a domestic app for moving USD between people in the US.

Cash App doesn't have a wire transfer limit because it doesn't offer wire transfers. However, it sets limits on the domestic payments it supports:³
- Unverified and sponsored accounts can send and receive up to 1,000 USD over a rolling 30-day period, with a total account limit of 1,500 USD
- Verified accounts can send up to 40,000 USD over a rolling 30-day period
To lift the lower limits, you can verify your identity in the app. Keep in mind that these caps apply only to US payments, so none of them let you send money to another country.
Here are the timelines that apply only to Cash App's US-based transfers:⁴
- A payment from another Cash App user arrives instantly
- A standard transfer to a linked bank account takes 1 to 3 business days
- Direct deposit can arrive up to 2 days early
- A paper money deposit at a participating store is instant once the store processes it
💡 However, if you need money to reach someone in another country, none of these options have that capability. You'll need to use another provider, such as Wise.

Cash App doesn't send money internationally, but there is one way it works outside the US: the Cash Card. This is Cash App's Visa debit card, and you can use it for purchases and ATM withdrawals in most countries, except for a small list of sanctioned regions.⁵
If you run into an issue or have a question as you're using the Cash Card internationally, you can call 1-800-969-1940, which is available every day from 8 AM to 9:30 PM ET.⁵
💡 You can also get help in the app by tapping your profile icon, selecting Support, and starting a chat, or browse help articles at cash.app/help.⁵

Cash App is a solid choice for fast, free payments between people in the US, but it's not an international service. It doesn't offer wire transfers, and since the 2024 UK closure, it operates in the US only.¹
If your goal is to send money to someone in another country, you'll need a provider who can handle cross-border transfers, such as Wise.
With Wise, you can send up to 1,000,000 USD per wire transaction to 140+ countries, with the mid-market exchange rate and low, transparent fees.
