At TransferWise, he leads interactions with governments and crafts consumer engagement campaigns to raise awareness and influence policymakers on the lack of transparency in international payments.
Prior to TransferWise, he spent a decade specializing in financial services policy for three members of Congress. While Staff Director of the US Senate Banking Subcommittee on International Finance, he was lead negotiator for the first major US banking law in a decade (The Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act), authored several other laws, and influenced countless regulatory actions.
