New Zealand Scheme Interchange Fees
Interchange reimbursement fees are fees paid by an acquirer (the financial institution that processes the card transaction on behalf of the merchant) to an issuer (the financial institution that issued the card to the cardholder).
These fees are subject to change by the Schemes (VISA and MasterCard) without notice. All fees outlined below are a percentage of the transaction amount unless a dollar amount is specified.
Mastercard Interchange Rates
WISE, as an issuer of Visa branded payment cards, has set the following maximum scheme interchange reimbursement fees that will apply to purchases made by holders of a WISE-issued Visa card. Fees are subject to change without notice.
