A brand for everywhere: Wise unveils bold new look
Wise has revealed a complete visual makeover, featuring a fresh green palette Our new look and feel features a bold new font, imagery and universal symbols ...
After endless requests from customers across Australia and New Zealand, it’s finally here. We’re excited to announce the launch of our debit card down under — your passport to cheaper spending overseas.
Traditional bank cards weren’t built to travel. You’re charged foreign transaction fees every time you tap or swipe abroad — on top of the bad exchange rates your bank might give you.
We don't think that's fair. So we're proud to launch the Wise Platinum debit Mastercard® for people and businesses in Australia and New Zealand. It's time to say goodbye to foreign transaction fees and crazy exchange rates. For good.
For people going on holiday or relocating abroad, the Wise Platinum debit Mastercard® is up to 11x cheaper than travel cards.
It's already helping over 250,000 in the UK, US, and Europe avoid hidden bank fees when they spend overseas. And after more than 2 million card transactions, we hope our customers in the southern hemisphere will benefit it from it, too.
But that's not all. Because it's a Platinum card, you get extra Platinum perks for free. That includes e-commerce protection, airport concierge, and global health and travel access.
Our debit card is part of our Wise account — the multi-currency account that lets you send money with the real exchange rate, receive money for free, and convert currencies with low fees.
Both the Wise personal and business accounts let you add, hold, and convert between over 40 currencies instantly and on the go. All conversions and card transactions are made with the real exchange rate — the one you see on Google.
An account also comes with your own bank details for Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Eurozone, and the US. And unlike other accounts, there are no setup fees or monthly charges.
If you already have a personal or business Wise account, just log in to order your card. If you don’t have an account, it’s free and easy to get started.
You can manage everything from your phone or computer, and keep track of all your spending with push notifications. And if you leave your card at a cafe or in your Uber, not to worry — you can freeze and unfreeze your card with a click of a button.
So wherever you’re off to, whatever you’re doing, or however long you’re doing it for, the Wise card is your passport to stress-free spending abroad.
Bon voyage!
