###According to the U.S. Census there are 45,477 people living in the States who were born in Sweden

We've already written about expat moving tips from several Swedish Wise customers. We know they use Wise instead of their bank for a cheaper and faster deal on sending money to Sweden - but we decided to find out a little more about Swedes living in the U.S.

So, we did some research into the lives and likes of Swedes who've moved out to the U.S. Here's what we found:

New York City is home to the highest number of Swedish expats
However, San Francisco is the city with the highest concentration - you're more likely to run into a fellow Swede here than elsewhere.

Trump is three times more popular than Hillary
Perhaps surprisingly, Donald Trump had 2,100 likes from Swedish expats - putting him ahead of Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton - at least in terms of social media popularity.

And the most popular celebrity is...?
Rapper and actor Will Smith is the most popular American celeb among Swedes in the U.S. - with 4,100 likes. That makes him almost twice as popular as the most popular Swedish celebrity Joel Kinnman, who has 2,500 likes.
