What are Auto Conversions?
Auto Conversions convert your money automatically between two currencies in your Wise account, once your desired rate hits.
We watch the rate, and convert your money for you when your desired rate is met in the market. So you can sit back, relax, and leave it to us.

Auto Conversions can help you get ahead of big bills. That’s because you can save on a more favourable exchange rate.
Let’s say you live in the US but you have a mortgage for a second home in France. If you set up an Auto Conversion to convert USD to EUR at your chosen rate, we’ll watch the rate, and convert when your desired rate hits. You’ll get more bang for your buck so you can pay off your mortgage faster.
Plus, you’ll enjoy peace of mind not worrying about when it’s the right time to convert.
How does it work?
First you’ll need to open a currency account in one of the 24 supported currencies, and top up. Open a currency account.
- Choose the currencies. Select the currency to convert from and tap 'Convert'. Then choose the currency you want to convert to.
- Pick the amount. Set the amount of money you want to convert.
- Toggle ‘Auto Convert’ on. And set the desired exchange rate at which to convert.
- Set it and forget it. When your desired rate is met in the market, we'll convert your money. You'll get notified when your money converts.

Right now we support Auto Conversions to/from any pairing of the following 24 currencies: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, JPY,CHF, NZD, SGD, MXN, HUF, NOK, SEK, DKK, PLN, CZK, RON, BGN, INR, BRL, THB, PKR, PHP, IDR.
You can still make a live-rate conversion at any time between other currencies on Wise.
What’s next?
Right now, Auto Conversions are only available on web and Android. But iOS is coming very soon. This is just the beginning for Auto Conversions — so things will only get better, and more convenient.
