####Did you know that there are 125,022 people living in the US who were born in Ireland?

We did some research to find out as much as we could about Irish expats here in the US. What we found out was fascinating.

It’s no surprise that New York City is home to the largest concentration of Irish. However, Boston, is where you are most likely to run into a Irish expat. While only 3rd on the list overall, we found that it is the city with the highest concentration of Irish expats

We dug into Facebook data from the profiles of more than over 80,000 Irish expats to reveal what the top interests are for those living in the US.

Will Smith ranks as the most popular celebrity with 8,300 likes. Making him almost 5 times more popular than the most popular Irish celebrity Liam Nesson, at 1,800 Facebook likes from the Irish.

Albeit perhaps for entertainment value as much as anything else, Donald Trump takes in 3,000 likes. While the Democratic presidential hopeful, Hillary Clinton, slips right under with 2,400 Facebook likes.
