A Study of Brits living in New York City

Did you know that there are 34,134 people living in New York who were born in the UK? That’s 5% of all Brits in the US!

Having done some research behind British expats living in the US, we decided to go a big deeper into the city with the largest amounts of Brits, New York City.

We were able to determine where they are most likely to spend their spare time, which local sport teams they follow and even which New York celebrities are more popular among the Brits. All by gathering data from more than 30,000 Facebook profiles and raking their likes and followings.

So while some of us are still trying to adjust to life in the US as a British expat, take a look at we found out about the New York Brits!
