OrbitRemit Exchange Rates

In addition to the transfer fee, OrbitRemit charges a markup on its exchange rate. This markup is an added cost that takes a cut of every dollar you convert. This can seem small initially, but it adds up quickly.

OrbitRemit has a currency converter calculator that lets users see their live exchange rates. Users can enter the amount to send and choose the recipient currency. The calculator gives the currency conversion rate instantly and can be helpful when comparing against other providers.

You'll find that the conversion rate shown by the calculator is higher than the mid-market rate you see on Google — and the one used by Wise.
