What is FPX?

If you shop online in Malaysia, you might have used FPX already. It is one of the most popular method for online payments with nearly 90 million transactions in 2018 according to Bank Negara Malaysia, the Central Bank of Malaysia.

It allows instant debit of your internet bank account and immediately credits merchant's account, like the TransferWise account in Malaysia. This means we receive your money faster than a usual bank transfer, and cheaper than card payments. Win-win for both of us!

Log in to TransferWise and set up a transfer from Malaysia (MYR)
Tell us who you're sending to
Tell us why you're sending money and confirm your details
Select FPX when paying for your transfer
Pay with FPX on your bank website

That’s it! Your money is on the way.

How much can I send?

You can send up to RM30,000 per day.

How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?

If you pay with FPX, we get your money in few minutes. Then, we convert it and send it out in 1-2 working day. We'll always give you an estimate for how long your transfer will take when you set it up.
