If you have a business registered in Brazil, and want to create a Wise Business account, here's some things you'll need to keep in mind.
In order to get a Wise Business account you need to:
be an active business
provide a valid CNPJ
and be one of the following legal types:
Sole Trader – Empresário Individual, including MEI (Micro Empresa Individual). Legal nature code
213-5
Single Person Limited Liability Company – Sociedade Limitada Unipessoal. Legal nature code
206-2
Single Person Lawyer Company – Sociedade Unipessoal de Advocacia. Legal nature code
232-1
All business accounts must be in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.
Currently, we can only onboard accounts where the owner of the company is the same as the personal account holder. There can only be 1 owner that owns 100% of the company. This means that the owner of the business must create the business account with us.

If you have managers at your business, you can add them as an Admin on the account.
What information will I need to provide?
We'll need to verify the owner's CPF and we'll ask for an ID. We'll also need to collect info about your business, such as name, address, CNPJ, activities, income, etc.
For Sole Trader (Empresário Individual) we also need a live ID + Selfie
Additional information/documents about your business might also be requested if needed.

What are business sending limits?
There are limits per transfer and also a business yearly limit:
Limits per transfer
Sending from BRL – 5,000 USD (or equivalent in another currency) both for sending to business or to personal accounts.
Sending to BRL – 3,000 USD (or equivalent in another currency) for sending to personal accounts and 10,000 USD (or equivalent in another currency) for sending to business accounts.
Any fees you pay are included in the limit. This means that you may not be able to send it if the total amount with fees exceeds the limit.
Financial capacity (yearly limit)
During registration, you might need to provide income information or additional documents about your business's financial capacity.
Businesses are able to increase this financial capacity by providing additional source of funds documents, upon Wise's request.
Wise reserves the right to request further information at any time if needed, to comply with our regulations.
