With a Wise Business account, you can request a payment from someone by sending them a payment link — once they pay you, it’ll get deposited directly to your balance.
For example, you can send your customer a payment link 100 GBP, and once they pay the 100 GBP, you’ll receive it straight to your GBP balance in your Wise account. You can always convert it to another currency.

Before you request money
You'll need to have at least one set of account details open before requesting any money. Check our individual pages for each currency account details to see what your account can receive.
If you’re requesting money from someone with a Wise account, you can request money in any currency — as long as you’ve opened account details for at least one balance. If they don’t have a Wise account, you can only request money from them in a currency you have account details for.
Create a payment link
To start receiving payments from your customers, first create a payment link. You can do so directly from the balance, or your home screen by selecting Request.
You can also go on the Payments tab:
Choose if you want the link to be Single use or Reusable
Enter the amount and currency for the request, add a description under Product or service (optional) if you would like
Select the payment methods that you want to enable for the link
Select Create and share the link to your customer(s)
Reusable and single payment links
Single use payment links can only receive one payment, and will automatically close once you get the payment. They’re valid for 30 calendar days.
Reusable payment links can receive multiple payments, and you'll need to close them if you want to stop receiving payments. They can't be reopened once you've closed them. These don't expire.
Fees
The fees for receiving payments with a payment link depend on how your customer pays you.
Your customer pays with Wise
Paying through Wise is always the fastest, and free. Your customer can choose what balance they want to pay with, so if they don’t have the currency you are requesting, they can choose to pay with a different currency and convert it.
Your customer pays via bank transfer
There are no fees for receiving money in most cases if your customer uses bank transfer to pay, with some exceptions for USD wire payments and CAD Swift payments — check the most recent fees on our pricing page.
Your customer pays with a card
The fee we charge depends on the card your customer pays with. We charge the fee as a percentage of the total amount, and this is deducted from the payment directly. For example, if someone pays you 100 GBP with a domestic consumer card, 99 GBP will arrive in your account.
