If you already have a Wise card or you’re not located in the US, you're not impacted by this change.
It's very simple to order your Wise card. Let's start with some basic information:
Can I order the card?
Before ordering the card, make sure you live in a place where you can order it.
Here is a list of eligible countries. We can’t issue cards to people who don’t live in these countries. We’re working hard to expand and have our card available globally.
If you live in one of the eligible countries, here's what you need to do to order it:
1. Get a Wise account
Sign up and open your first balance — you’ll be able to add more currencies afterwards.
Note: reviewing your application can take us a few days due to verification.
2. Order your Wise physical card
Go to the Card tab and you'll see an option to order the card. We may ask you to pay a small fee for the card or add money to your balance.
For personal customers in the EEA, Switzerland and UK you’ll have an option to order an eco-friendly card.
We'll check your personal details, like your name and address. We also need to verify your account. Once everything looks right, we’ll ship the new card to you.
Note: standard delivery is done via local post so there isn't a tracking number available unless you speed up your card order.

For some regions you can check your card details before your card is delivered. Your card details are ready to be used for online purchases, and mobile wallet purchases
3. Activate your Wise card
For most regions, you can activate it simply by using it for a Chip and PIN payment. If you live in some of the regions where Chip and PIN activation is not available, you'll get an activation code.
Once you activate your card you can use it almost anywhere in the world.

What if I want an additional card?
We only offer one physical card per user, and it must be issued in the name of the account holder, so if someone else in your family would like to have a card, they have to create their own account and go through the steps above.
You can order a digital card instead — it’s great for a more secure spending experience, you can get up to 3 at any one time, and you can replace them any time you want to get new card details. Check whether cards are currently available in your region.
