Here’s how you can get account details to receive money from people or businesses:
From Home, select the plus icon to open a balance in a currency that has account details, such as USD, EUR, or GBP.
Select Get account details.
If it’s your first time, you’ll need to complete some requirements first.
Check below or in the app or web for the requirements for your account
Once you’ve completed all of the requirements, you’ll have your own account details that can be shared with whoever wants to send you money such as friends, companies, or customers.
You can also view your account details from the Payments tab.
Eligibility
To get account details, you need to open a balance in one of the supported currencies.
You can only open a balance if your registered address is in a country where the Wise balance is available.
USD account details are not available in some regions. Learn more about getting USD account details
Personal account requirements
To get your first set of account details, we'll ask you to:
add 20 GBP to your account (or equivalent in your currency)
If you're getting USD or EUR account details, you'll need to take a photo of your ID and a separate selfie of your face as part of verifying your identity.
Business account requirements
For businesses in the EEA, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK you'll need to pay a registration fee when signing up.
This is a one-time onboarding fee — you won't be charged extra to open account details to receive money.
For businesses in India you don't need to pay additional charges to get account details.
For all other regions, signing up for a Wise account is free, but there's a fee to get account details.
You only have to pay to get your first set of account details. After that, you can freely get account details for any of the other available currencies.
How much does it cost to get account details?
The fee to register an account or get account details varies based on where your business is registered.

Why does the fee vary?
Verification processes cost more in some countries, so we might charge you a higher fee in order to cover these costs.
After paying the fee, we’ll get started on verifying your business. Once verified, you’ll get your account details. If we can’t verify your business, we’ll refund the fee back to you.
How can I pay to get account details?
For businesses in EEA, Switzerland and the UK: You can only pay the fee using your debit/credit card.
For Brazilian businesses you can pay with Pix via your business bank account.
For all other regions you can pay the fee using your debit/credit card, or from your balance. If you want to pay from a balance, you'll need to add money to your account.
