Sometimes, the sender’s bank may charge a fee before the payment reaches us, so reach out to the sender to check with their bank.

Check the pricing page for the most up-to-date Swift receiving fees for your region.
Limits
For most currencies, there's no limit on how much you can receive to your balance. But check the relevant currency article under Using your account details to be sure.
Getting paid by card
Business customers requesting money through card payments can request up to 10,000 GBP, or the equivalent in another currency, per payment.

Receiving large amounts
After receiving a large amount of money, we may need to ask you about your relationship with the sender, or the purpose of the payment. This is a regulatory requirement for us, and it helps us to make sure that our services are safe for everyone.
You don't need to do anything before receiving large amounts, such as sending documents to us. We review transfers on a case by case basis, so there’s no way to know what information we’ll need until we’ve received the money from the sender.
USD
Personal limit (USD) | Business limit (USD) | |

USD limit per transaction and per day | 20 million | 50 million |
USD limit per year* | 35 million | 150 million |
*These limits apply for a rolling 365-day period, and not per calendar year. So say you receive a payment on 10 April — this will count towards your limit until 11 April the following year.
Any money you receive into your USD balance using your USD account details, either by someone else or yourself, will count towards the limit.
There are no limits if you choose Add USD, or convert money from one of your other balances into your USD balance.
