We're temporarily unable to accept Swift payments to NZD global account details if your registered address is in New Zealand.
Account details are a set of details for a currency to receive money.
Once you have your NZD account details, you’ll have your own account details where you can receive New Zealand dollars.
This isn’t a bank account, but you can receive money in the same way by sharing the details with friends, family, clients or companies, so that they can send you money.
They can pay you locally from their New Zealand bank, or internationally by Swift. Once you receive the money, it’ll be credited to your NZD balance.
Opening new account details
You’ll first need to open a NZD balance. Then select Get your account details and follow the steps.
We’ll need to verify you before we can provide details to you.

To see your details once you’ve got them, on the app or web:
Go on your NZD balance
Select the account details button just under the currency

Payments from inside New Zealand
To receive domestic transfer in NZD share the following details with the sender:
Your name
Account number
Some banks might need a three-digit suffix. Simply add a 0 before the last 2 digits of your account number. For example: 11-2222-3333333-44 would be 11-2222-3333333-044.
The sender’s bank will give them an estimate when they set up the payment — for any details about how long it takes, reach out to your sender so they can ask their bank.
Payments from outside New Zealand
If your payer can't make a domestic transfer, you can use your NZD details to receive Swift payments.
Payments by Swift to NZD details
To receive international Swift transfers in NZD share this with the sender:
Name
Account number
Swift/BIC code
They can send Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world. Keep in mind it's usually cheaper and faster to receive to local account details.
They should only send you NZD to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in NZD, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
Payments by Swift to GBP details
You can also receive NZD from outside New Zealand by Swift into your GB IBAN.
Let the sender know that you want to receive NZD into your GBP details so you can avoid conversion fees. Some banks might recognise the GBP IBAN and want to convert NZD to GBP, but this isn't necessary.
If their bank asks them the country of the recipient’s (your) bank, tell them to select the United Kingdom.
